Blueberry Choco Cake

Try something different for dessert. Nothing goes better together like fruit and chocolate. **Serves 4 people.

  • Step 1

    Preheat oven to 180°C and grease an 8-inch baking pan with butter

  • Step 2

    In a mixing bowl stir together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside.

  • Step 3

    In a blender combine the water, blueberries, and egg and blend until smooth.

  • Step 4

    Pour the mixture into the flour and stir to combine. Then, transfer to the prepared baking dish and place into the preheated oven.

  • Step 5

    Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Now, you can remove and place onto a wire rack and let cool.

  • Step 6

    Meanwhile heat the butter and chocolate chips in a small pot over low heat until melted. Drizzle over the cooled cake and use a spatula to smooth out. Let cool.

  • Step 7

    Finally, cut and serve with fresh blueberries.
